YAY! Finally it's SPRIIIING!
It's been a month (or more) since I arrived back here in Busan. Don't ask about my study, let's leave it first. Quite annoying actually that the weather is still cold and we need to layered up but it's SPRING already?! Oh God. I feel like wanted to go back to my hometown since it's hot there (even though I also can't stand of the humidity). Urgh.

So! I went to the Jinhae Spring Festival for the second time and it's still A LOT of people came there. Not so enjoyable since we're going in a such big groups with all the international people and it's super crowded so.. what do you expected? HAHA! HOWEVER, this time, I managed to catch the sakura's petal! YAY!

P.S. Do you know there's a myth that if you catch the petal when it fell down, you'll get into a relationship here (in Korea)? Well believe it or not but I caught it anyway.

Hey hey guys! How's everybody doing? I've been so busy with fashion photo shoots these days, since I'm helping VDS as the assistant photographer so yeah.. But it was fun though. I can meet some FAMOUS people in my hometown and it was nice to finally met them :D

The images above were my FIRST photo shoot in 2014. YAY! So, at first, I didn't have an intention to do that clean look of beauty portrait. I want to continue my CHEFS-D'ŒUVRE project with AWT but he's not in town :( Then Indah asked for a help to me to have some clean look photos for her model composite card. I'm thinking "why not?". HERE IT IS!

Anyway, it's almost Chinese New Year isn't it? I've prepared another fashion shots, JUST for CNY.
Wait for it!

Ciao.

P.S. AH YES! HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014 PEOPLE!

Chefs-d'œuvre Project

12:05 PM

Bonjour!
I'll turn myself into a French lady for a while :D

Currently, I'm doing this collaboration project with my new photographer friend, AWT. At first, I was thinking that this is gonna be my new personal project. Then after thinking for a while, I decided to make this as a collaboration with other fellow photographer.

The original concept is basically replicating some Impressionist paintings into a photograph. Not making it EXACTLY the same, but also modifying it to a modern style. Why Impressionist? Because I love it. HAHAHA. Well, personally I love Impressionist paintings, especially Degas. Then I bought a book about best Impressionist paintings and what paintings you should know. I loved it too much that make me can't sleep. The idea is running around my mind, wanted to do photoshoot so bad on it.

Another reason why I choose Impressionist because it's so natural that people will know what painting is this and who the subject. For more history knowledge, please do look at Google. And as a person that learn classical piano, I knew some of Impressionist music and their characteristics. Both in music and painting, the style is so me. Naturalistic yet imaginary. So, yeah. This is the reason why.

Because this is a series project and Impressionist painter are so many, I picked some of the names that people know about. The first one will begin with a man called Pierre-Auguste Renoir. He's well-known by his portrait works.

I will not tell you which of his paintings I used in the series. Surprise awaits!
