Chanel Spring 2012

3:31 PM

Fashion Gone Rogue posted a new campaign again on their web and it shows on my news feed in FB. i take a look at it because i found it kinda interesting. and it IS interesting.

it's the new campaign of Chanel for this spring and it's photographed by the one and only, Karl Lagerfeld. actually i've been browse into Karl's works in FGR but i found this new campaign is the best of all. i don't know why but it makes me say WOW.

here are Saskia de Brauw and Joan Smalls. they're like birds sitting on those power plants. i don't know what the exact word but if you get what i mean, i'm happy. they're like doing some gymnastic moves on these shots. i'm totally WOWed.

i only posted some of them here what i think is amazing.

i wonder how they do that and how Karl took the shots. incredible!

while i'm looking back through previous years' memories, i suddenly remember how i used to be a ballerina. i started ballet when i was 4 and quit during Junior High School. i used to dream that i would be a professional ballerina and will perform everywhere around the world. Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Swan Lake, those are my dreams. i still remember the feeling when i got several medals for ballet or modern dance competitions. i was so honored and proud. now, all i can do is smile and feel glad of that memories.

so, better i stop talking now and show you these pictures.

these are Chanel's (i think it's a campaign) for their ballerina shoes and nail polish. i read it on Nina Garcia's "The Little Black Book of Style" that ballerina shoes is one of the must-have shoes. i totally agree. well, i love flats because i feel really comfortable and not easily getting tired. everything that is flat, i'm on it.

Karl Lagerfeld is in the frame, looking at the ballerina's dancing. i think they dance a "Swan Lake" piece because of that "tutu" and the pose. i always love Swan Lake. don't think about the Barbie one. yes they made a similar story but the original is more dramatic, tragic, and too much technique.

while i'm browsing these lovely picture, i found this petite Chanel ballerina shoes.
may i put this on my 2012 wishlist?
