Arabesque
11:47 PMwhile i'm looking back through previous years' memories, i suddenly remember how i used to be a ballerina. i started ballet when i was 4 and quit during Junior High School. i used to dream that i would be a professional ballerina and will perform everywhere around the world. Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Swan Lake, those are my dreams. i still remember the feeling when i got several medals for ballet or modern dance competitions. i was so honored and proud. now, all i can do is smile and feel glad of that memories.
so, better i stop talking now and show you these pictures.
these are Chanel's (i think it's a campaign) for their ballerina shoes and nail polish. i read it on Nina Garcia's "The Little Black Book of Style" that ballerina shoes is one of the must-have shoes. i totally agree. well, i love flats because i feel really comfortable and not easily getting tired. everything that is flat, i'm on it.
Karl Lagerfeld is in the frame, looking at the ballerina's dancing. i think they dance a "Swan Lake" piece because of that "tutu" and the pose. i always love Swan Lake. don't think about the Barbie one. yes they made a similar story but the original is more dramatic, tragic, and too much technique.
while i'm browsing these lovely picture, i found this petite Chanel ballerina shoes.
may i put this on my 2012 wishlist?
